Sprinkler and drip network across 1.2 acres, paired with dibbled lawn for a low-water establishment.
A large open site with limited water availability meant the lawn had to establish on a controlled budget. We used dibling rather than full turf laying, which reduces both material cost and initial water demand.
The irrigation design splits the property into six sprinkler zones for lawn and two drip zones for the avenue plantation, all on a single timer at the pump house.
Outcomes
- Lawn coverage achieved in a single season at lower cost
- Six sprinkler zones plus two drip zones on one controller
- Water consumption roughly a third of flood irrigation
- Avenue plantation established with no manual watering
