IRRIGATION SOLUTIONS
Lawns and plant beds want different water. Grass needs even coverage across a continuous surface; trees and shrubs want slow, deep soaking at the root zone. Put them on one zone and you will either overwater the lawn or underwater the trees — usually both.
So we zone them separately and run everything from a single controller at the pump house. Lawns get pop-up sprinklers with matched precipitation rates that retract clear of the mower. Beds and avenue plantation get pressure-compensating drip, which puts water at the roots, keeps foliage dry and loses far less to evaporation.
Every design starts at the source. Available flow and pressure decide how many heads can run per zone, and getting that arithmetic wrong is the single most common fault we are called in to fix — weak spray at the far end of a line that no amount of adjustment will cure.
What’s included
- Source survey — flow rate, pressure, pump and tank capacity
- Hydraulic zoning so every head runs at its design pressure
- Pop-up sprinklers for lawns, matched precipitation rates
- Pressure-compensating drip for beds, hedges and avenue trees
- Automatic timer or smart controller with seasonal programmes
- Filtration, valves, flush points and control chamber
- As-built layout drawing plus operating and servicing training

HOW WE DELIVER IRRIGATION SOLUTIONS
PROCESS
-
Source survey
We measure actual flow and pressure at the source before a single line is designed.
-
Zoning and hydraulic design
Lawn and planting areas are split into zones sized to the water the source can genuinely deliver.
-
Installation
Mains, laterals, valves and filtration go in with flush points and accessible control chambers.
-
Commissioning
Every zone is pressure-tested, heads are adjusted for coverage, and the controller is programmed by season.
-
Training and as-builts
We hand over an as-built layout and train your team on programme changes and routine servicing.

COMMON QUESTIONS
F.A.Q
What exactly does a "softscape execution partner" do?
We take the planting side of a landscape project from drawing to handover — grading, soil profiling, lawn, plantation, vertical gardens and irrigation. Architects and PMCs keep the design authority; we own the execution, the material quality and the delivery date, so there is one accountable party on site instead of five vendors.
Do you work directly with architects, builders and PMCs?
Yes — that is most of our work. We execute against your drawings and plant schedule, flag anything on site that will not survive as specified, and hand back as-planted and as-built records for your project file.
Will you also work directly with a farmhouse or villa owner?
Yes. For private owners we handle the whole scope, including the design decisions, and we explain the trade-offs in plain terms — for example whether your area is better served by turf laying or dibling.
How long does a softscape package take?
It depends on area and scope. A villa lawn with plantation and drip typically runs two to four weeks on site. Acreage with a full irrigation network runs longer, and dibbled lawn needs a growing season to reach full coverage. We give a dated programme with the quote rather than a range.
Should I choose lawn laying or lawn dibling?
Lay turf when you have a handover, possession or photography date — the lawn looks finished the same day. Dibble when the area is large, the timeline is flexible and water is metered, because material cost and establishment water demand both drop sharply. On mixed sites we often lay turf on the visible frontage and dibble the rear lawn.
